Stir-fried caixin with squid

    Stir-fried vegetables can be rather boring, so we usually add a little meat or seafood to make it taste better.

    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 packet fresh shiitake mushrooms, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 400g caixin
    • 100 g squid, sliced
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • 75 ml water


    1. Oil the frying pan with 2 tbsp of oil. Add the garlic and fry under medium heat until slightly brown.
    2. Add the mushrooms and caixin and stir-fry until the caixin leaves are slightly wilted and the stems are soft.
    3. Add the squid and stir-fry until it turns white.
    4. Quickly add the light soy sauce and water. Stir-fry for another 30 seconds. Serve.
