Braised chicken wings and potatoes

    This is a very enjoyable dish as the marinade makes the chicken wings very delicious. The sauce can be eaten with rice.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 5 

    • 7 chicken wings
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • a few slices ginger
    • 3 cloves garlic, smashed
    • 3 potatoes, cut into quarters
    • water
    • salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce

    1. Marinate the chicken wings in oyster sauce, sesame oil and light soy sauce for about 30 minutes.
    2. Fry a few slices of ginger and garlic until fragrant under medium heat in a large pot.
    3. Add the chicken and continue frying for about 2 minutes.
    4. Add the potatoes and just enough water to cover all the chicken. Allow it to cook for about 40 minutes under low heat. Add salt and sugar to taste. Serve.
