    About this recipe: This is a simple sweet tasting soup that is very common in Singapore. Fishballs can be added to this soup.

    Central Region, Singapore

    Serves: 5 

    • 1125ml water
    • 1/2 Chinese cabbage, cut into 3-4 cm thick strips
    • 75g minced pork
    • 8 fish balls
    • a pinch of salt

    1. In a large pot, pour in the water, and allow it to boil under high heat.
    2. Add in the cabbage and allow it to boil under low heat for 10 minutes.
    3. Add in the minced pork, fish balls and salt. Stir well and allow it to continue to cook for 10 minutes. Serve with fried shallots as garnish.
