Stir-fried pork slices in dark sauce

    This is a very simple stir-fry recipe with pork. The ginger helps to remove the smell of pork while the dark soy sauce gives it fragrance.

    • 250g pork loin, sliced
    • 1.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • a dash of pepper
    • 1 tsp rice wine
    • a few slices of ginger, cut into strips
    • 1/2 cup water
    • cilantro for garnish

    1. Marinate the pork slices in ½ tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp each of sesame oil and rice wine and pepper for 30 minutes.
    2. Under medium heat, stir-fry the ginger until fragrant.
    3. Add the pork slices and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add water and 1 tbsp dark soy sauce and allow it to boil.
    4. Once it boils, turn off heat. Garnish with cilantro.
