Steamed tofu with mushroom topping

    This recipe is credited to Uncle Keith. This is another easy electric steamer recipe. It takes longer than steaming over water in a wok but is more energy efficient.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 pack firm tofu
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • 1 packet brown bunashimeji mushrooms, washed

    1. Cut the firm tofu into 1.5cm wide cubes. Place tofu in an electrical steamer and drizzle light soy sauce over. Steam for 15 minutes.
    2. Remove steamer lid and place mushrooms on tofu. Allow it to steam for another 5 minutes.
    3. Turn off the power and allow it to sit for 25-30 minutes. Serve.
