About this recipe: This soup is a delicious clear soup containing garlic, pork ribs and spices. This soup can be poured onto rice or eaten with You Tiao (a chinese deep-fried breadstick).

Serves: 4 

  • 2000ml water
  • 1kg pork ribs
  • 8 dried mushrooms, soaked until soft
  • 1 garlic, whole
  • 1 packet bak kut teh spices
  • 3 tsp dark soy sauce

Prep:2hr  ›  Cook:1hr  ›  Ready in:3hr 

  1. Boil the water.
  2. Add the pork ribs, spices, mushrooms and garlic.
  3. Let it boil under low heat for 1 hour.
  4. Add dark soy sauce for colour.
