Pan-fried lotus root and minced meat patties

    This is a very interesting dish. The lotus root and minced meat surprisingly goes well together.

    Serves: 4 

    • 200g lotus root, cleaned and diced
    • 300g minced pork
    • 1 tsp cornflour
    • a pinch of salt
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 2 tbsp oil

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
    2. Shape into 6 patties.
    3. Heat oil over a frying pan. Pan fry over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes. Flip over and pan fry for another 2-3 minutes. Blot dry with kitchen towels. Serve.
