Choose prawns with roes. Cut off sharp edge & feelers; devein prawns & rinse.
To make butterflies, cut prawns into half leaving tail intact. Be careful not to lose the roes. Marinade with ginger & seasonings & arrange neatly on a plate. Top with garlic & spring onions.
Cover plate loosely with plastic wrap & microwave using Steam mode. If you don’t not have auto mode, microwave for about 2-3 mins or until prawns turn pink & you're ready to serve your Butterfly Prawns.
