    About this recipe: On a hot summer day, nothing hits the spot quite like this refreshing citrus and mint drink. The tea flavour helps to balance the sweetness. Add less sugar if you prefer and adjust to your liking.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 10 

    • 600ml boiling water
    • 12 sprigs fresh mint
    • 4 ordinary tea bags
    • 220g sugar, or to taste
    • 250ml good quality orange juice
    • 4 tablespoons(80ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • 1litre cold water
    • thin orange slices for garnish (optional)
    • thin lemon slices for garnish (optional)
    • additional mint leaves for garnish

    1. Place the tea bags and mint sprigs in a large jug. Pour boiling water over them and leave to steep for about 8 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags and mint leaves, squeezing them to extract all the flavour.
    2. Add the sugar and stir until it has dissolved. Pour in the orange juice, lemon juice and cold water.
    3. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with mint leaves and thin slices of orange or lemon.
