About this recipe: Thin crispy biscuits with sweet cherry in the middle.

Serves: 10 

  • 125g margarine or butter
  • 60g caster sugar
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 125g plain flour
  • 5-8 glace cherries, halved

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Cream the margarine & sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the flour and the vanilla.
  2. Roll into little balls and flatten slightly. Press half cherry into the centre of ball, and place on a greased baking tray.
  3. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Cool on a wire cooling rack.
