    About this recipe: This is a lovely fruity loaf that can be made in the bread machine. Have it for breakfast or tea served with your favourite jam and butter.

    Serves: 10 

    • 200 ml milk
    • 3 tablespoons butter
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
    • 400g bread flour
    • ½ teaspoon dry yeast
    • 75g dried cherries
    • 75g raisins

    1. Place the milk, butter, brown sugar, egg, salt, cinnamon, yeast and bread flour into the pan of a bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the white bread cycle.
    2. About 5 minutes before the end of the mixing process, add the dried fruit. If your bread machine has a fruit setting, use that.
