Jesse's Ginger Salad Dressing

    I actually made this up off the top of my head. It's really good and really easy to make. My wife went crazy over it.

    Serves: 16 

    • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons ground ginger
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons white sugar

    1. Combine carrot, mayonnaise, ground ginger, soy sauce, and white sugar in a food processor. Blend until smooth.

    This is a great basic recipe. I tasted it as written and thought it was really good- especially for such a simple recipe! I did add some things to my final dressing though: 1/8 ts. garlic JUICE, 1t white rice vinegar, 3 drops sesame oil- these additions (at least for me) made this dressing PERFECT!  -  02 Sep 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
