Apple Toast

Apple toast is a great after-school snack for kids who are picky eaters. It doesn't take long to make and is a light snack that will leave you satisfied. Drizzle with honey before serving.

I can't believe I'm the first to try this recipe! It was good but next time I'm going to sprinkle the bread with some cinnamon/Splenda & then sprinkle some more on top of the apples. I used a refrigerated butter spray instead of butter. I'd say I had enough apple for 2 slices of bread, not 4. Great, quick snack & thank you!  -  08 Jan 2006  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

I tried this last night and LOVED it! I toasted the bread first and that helped it to not get too soggy.  -  04 Dec 2008  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

I used WAY less than a tbsp of cinnamon for four slices of toast. This is delicious as is, but is even better with a drizzle of honey or even a little brown sugar. Thanks!  -  11 Nov 2006  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
