Daging Masak Kicap (Beef in Soy Sauce)

About this recipe: This is an easy dish to prepare to eat with rice.

Serves: 6 

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 500 gm beef, sliced thinly

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Peel and slice potatoes to medium thickness then marinate with a little salt and turmeric powder. Heat oil in pan and fry the potatoes until cooked. Drain on paper towel and set aside.
  2. Saute onions and garlic in pan until onions are soft. Add beef, soy sauce and stir-fry. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. When the beef is cooked, add the peas and stir. Add the potatoes and combine with the other ingredients.
