    About this recipe: Flat mushrooms are flavoured with sesame oil, soya sauce, and ginger before being grilled until soft.

    Serves: 2 

    • 4 portobello mushroom caps
    • 3 tablespoons soya sauce
    • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
    • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
    • 1 small clove garlic, minced

    1. Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 15cm from the heat source.
    2. Wash the mushrooms; arrange on a baking tray with top side of the mushroom facing down. Whisk together the soya sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl; brush the mixture evenly over the mushrooms.
    3. Roast the mushrooms under the broiler until soft, about 10 minutes.
