    About this recipe: This is a quick addition to your dinner. Eggs are whipped up with some fish sauce and fried quickly in the wok. Minced pork can be added, if available. This simple dish is great for kids not ready yet for spicy dishes. Remember to use the freshest eggs available!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 5 chicken eggs
    • 1 tablespoon (15ml) fish sauce
    • 100 g minced pork, optional
    • 1 tablespoon (15ml) vegetable oil

    Directions

    1. With a fork whip the eggs with the fish sauce until frothy. Mix in the minced pork, if using.
    2. Heat the wok with the vegetable oil until hot and pour in the eggs. Stir the eggs briefly and let fry until the bottom is browned. Flip the egg mass over and continue to cook until the other side is brown. The egg and pork should be cooked through, if not, chop it up a bit and continue to cook until done.
    3. Serve the omelette in a communal dish.
