    About this recipe: The Pie Floater is a South Australian dish originally sold in horse drawn carts in Adelaide since the 1870's but the popularity has declined in past decades.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 meat pies
    • 1 can of pea soup.
    • tomato sauce (optional)

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Cook the soup and pies according to directions.
    2. Ladle the soup evenly into four separate bowls.
    3. Place a pie on the soup. Add sauce.
