30-Minute Meal: Healthy Bitter Gourd Egg-Drop Soup


    A no-fuss 30-minute recipe that anyone can cook especially the busy executives who have no time to waste in the kitchen.

    • ¼ Bitter gourd
    • 1.5 lit Chicken stock
    • 1 Egg ( beaten )
    • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
    • ½ tsp Salt


    1. Rinse bitter gourd and remove skin. Use a spoon to scrap out the insides of the melon.
    2. Slice thinly. Soak in salt water for about 30 minutes to reduce the bitterness (optional).
    3. Add melon into boiling stock and simmer for about 15 minutes.
    4. Add seasoning and turn off fire. Add beaten egg and stir.
    5. Serve your Healthy Bitter Gourd Egg-Drop Soup hot.
