Deep-fried cai poh (preserved radish)

    It's true that cai poh isn't very healthy (so salty!) but once in a while can't hurt. Goes great with porridge.

    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 70g cai poh
    • ½ tsp sugar


    1. Fry the garlic in a hot oiled pan until it starts to brown.
    2. Add in the caipoh and stir-fry until fragrant and slightly browned. Add sugar and stir-fry until the sugar dissolves. Serve with porridge.
