About this recipe: Don't worry that there seems to be too little water initially. Squid would "lose water" during cooking.

  • 1 big onion, sliced
  • 1 squid (about 200g), sliced
  • 2 tbsp Japanese chili mix
  • 2 tbsp water


  1. Mix together all the ingredients and allow it to sit for about 1 hour.
  2. Steam for 8 minutes. Remove immediately and serve.
