Pan-fried threadfin

    Sometimes I get home late and don't have that much time to cook and clean up. This fish can be cooked in one pan/wok so less cleaning up to do later!

    • 1/2kg whole threadfin
    • A small amount of Sichuan vegetables, sliced
    • A few slices ginger
    • A small amount of salted vegetables
    • 1 stalk celery, sliced
    • 1 tbsp water
    • 1 tomato, quartered


    1. Pan-fry the threadfin till golden brown on both sides. Use a small flame to control the heat more easily.
    2. Move the fish to the side and fry all the vegetables except the tomato until soft and fragrant. Add water and stir-fry to combine.
    3. Add in the tomato and stir-fry again until the tomato is softened. Dish out and serve.
