    About this recipe: Granted, this isn't as tasty as the siew mai you eat at dim sum places. But not too bad. I'll probably use round wanton skin the next time as there is too much wanton skin sticking out.

    • 100g minced pork
    • 75g prawn, diced
    • 2 water chestnuts, diced
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ½ tsp sesame oil
    • ½ tsp rice wine
    • Small amount cornflour
    • 10 pieces wanton skin


    1. Mix together all the ingredients except the wanton skins. Separate the mixture into 10 portions.
    2. Scoop one portion on a wanton skin and start folding the sides upwards and fold the sides on itself to make it open out like a flower.
    3. Steam for 15 minutes. Serve.
