Pulut Hitam (Orh Jook)

    Pulut hitam is a dessert which doesn't require much effort. Cook it for a long time so that the grains really dissolve.

    • 200g pulut hitam
    • 1 L water
    • 100g sugar
    • 30g sago, soaked until expanded
    • 150ml coconut milk


    1. Boil the pulut hitam in water for 3-4 hours under low heat. Add more water if it is too thick.
    2. Add sugar and sago. Stir until combined.
    3. When serving, stir in coconut milk. Serve.
