Pink beans / Zhen zhu dou soup (珍珠豆汤)

    We like the zhen zhu dou a lot. Initially I didn't know what it was called and it was always the "pink bean" to us!

    • 2.5 L water
    • 420g pork ribs
    • 200g pink beans (珍珠豆), pod removed
    • A pinch of salt


    1. Cook all ingredients in a large pot over a small flame for 1 hour. Add salt to taste. Serve.
