Stir-fried chicken breast with celery

    Celery is supposed to be good for lowering cholestrol. Also it is crunchy which gives the dish some different texture.

    • 1 piece chicken breast meat, boneless, sliced
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
    • A pinch of salt
    • ½ tsp cornflour
    • A dash of pepper
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 2 stems celery, sliced
    • 1 carrot, sliced
    • ¼ cup water


    1. Marinate the chicken breast meat with oyster sauce, salt, cornflour and pepper for about ½ hour.
    2. Fry the garlic until it starts to brown and then add celery, carrot. Stir-fry for about 1 minute under medium heat.
    3. Add in the chicken breast meat and water. Stir-fry to combine and cover the pan with a lid until the chicken in cooked. Lift the lid occasionally to stir-fry. Serve.
