Stir-fried cauliflower

    We cook this very frequently as cauliflower keeps well. We only go down to the market once in a week so we need to buy some vegetables that would keep for the entire week.

    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 onion, sliced
    • ½ crown cauliflower, cut into smaller pieces
    • 1 carrot, sliced
    • 100ml water
    • A pinch of salt
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 1 tbsp cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp water


    1. Fry the garlic and onion under medium heat until fragrant.
    2. Add in the carrot and cauliflower. Stir-fry to mix. Add in water and keep covered until the cauliflower is soft.
    3. Add in salt, oyster sauce and cornflour mixture. Stir-fry until the sauce becomes sticky. Serve.
