    About this recipe: This dish is a favorite in our family! Sichuan vegetables bought fresh from the market can be too salty so it needs to be washed before use. If you use pre-packaged Sichuan vegetables, then you don't have to wash it.

    Ingredients

    • 1 ball fresh Sichuan vegetables
    • 4 bowls water
    • 300g pork ribs
    • 50g dried octopus
    • 1 tomato, quartered

    Directions

    1. Soak the Sichuan vegetables for ½ hour or longer before slicing it up.
    2. Fill a thermal pot with water. Add in Sichuan vegetables and pork ribs and allow it to boil.
    3. Once the water starts boiling, add in the dried octopus. Allow it to boil for 5-10 minutes.
    4. Add in the tomato and turn off the heat. Return it into the thermal cooker for the rest of the day. Reheat again just before serving.
