Best Fried Rice

    This is our very best, favorite fried rice recipe! We don't like to break the egg into the rice itself - rather we have it fried up and cut into strips.

    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 50g Chinese sausages, sliced
    • 2 small onions, sliced
    • 50g frozen mixed vegetables, defrosted
    • 4 sticks crabmeat, sliced
    • 300g cold cooked rice
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce


    1. Oil a pan and pan-fry the egg until both sides are golden brown. Remove from pan and cut into strips. Set aside.
    2. Fry the Chinese sausages until slightly browned and fragrant. Remove from pan and set aside.
    3. Fry the small onions until fragrant. Add the mixed vegetables, crabmeat and Chinese sausages. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
    4. Add the rice and mix well so that all ingredients are well-combined. Add light soy sauce and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes. Serve garnished with egg.
