This recipe was my absolute favourite sweet treat growing up, and still is! This was my great-grandma's recipe and is NOT for those watching their figure! The result is a very rich, very tasty bar cookie. The nuts and cherries are both optional, but give great variations to this recipe.

These little savoury packages are great to have for entertaining. It's also possible to prepare it ahead of time and keep frozen until when you need it. Just thaw it out at room temperature then deep-fry.

Absolutely delicious! This recipe started out as a basic honey roasted beer nut recipe and evolved into this splendid party treat.

This is one I learned as a teenager and now I've started making it again for the dreaded fundraisers! It's simple - the only cooking is melting the coconut.

I found some really nice & cheap mussels at the supermarket & was in a mood for some unhealthy indulgence. I love those at Mos Burgers but at a price of S$3.30 for 5 pieces, it's much more economical to D.I.Y. The tray of mussels I bought today was just S$1 for 500g. There were about 18 pieces. Wow! Of course, I've no doubt the quality difference but at just a dollar for some fresh mussels, it's good enough. After all, I'm gonna deep-fry them anyway.
