This is a tasty and quick side dish. The cooking time is just a guideline, feel free to cook this until the green beans are to your liking.

This dish melts in your mouth. The credit goes to my future mother-in-law. Each fillet should be approximately 2.5cm thick.

This is the classic Italian almond macaroon. When first baked they are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. As they sit, they get crunchy throughout. Delicious with any fruit dessert.

This is a cookie the Italian's make on festive occasions like weddings, or Christmas. For a festive touch, decorate the top of each cookie with a piece of candied cherry instead of the almond.

Tofu stretches the peanut butter in this spicy dip, reducing kilojoules and giving it a velvety consistency. Serve with crudités, as a spread or as a dressing for an Asian noodle salad.

This is a delicious variation of traditional banana bread. It's a real yummy combination of crunch and 'ooey gooey' taste. As it's low fat, you'll never go back to traditional banana bread again!

My mother makes this sauce, and the recipe has never failed! This is a hazelnut variation of authentic Hollandaise sauce that is virtually foolproof! Serve with trout or salmon.

You can make this candy using salted peanuts too, it will lend a slightly salty bite to it, which is also common in Brazil.”

I got this wonderful recipe from a bed and breakfast we stayed at once. It is a hit every time I make it. Serve with caramel or chocolate sauce if desired.

I was given some of these biscuits as a 'Thank You' gift in the early 90's and they have become a firm favourite in our family. They are also my favourite biscuits to make! They are relatively easy to make and, depending on the size, you can get 60 to 80 biscuits. I've never had a failure with these - even when I once forgot the baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and had to take the rolled balls off the trays and back into the bowl to mix these in!
