Durian can be too strong of a flavour for some. My friend Venny served us this cake for tea and surprisingly it was not too overpowering and a nice twist to an ordinary cake.

A traditional Punjabi beverage made with yoghurt. This one is sweet and calls for mango. Serve with fresh mint, if you like. It's smooth, creamy and absolutely heavenly!

This common street food smells and tastes so delicious and is very easy to prepare at home. It's a great (kid) crowd pleaser!

The 1st time I tried this spicy, sweet & sour fish was at a Zhi-char (煮炒) stall near my home. Zhi-char stall is a modest stall that’s found in coffeeshops where Chinese home-style dishes are cooked to your order. After that, I knew I had to try making this at home. And I did it, with just one attempt! Hooray! Hubby was full of praise; what more do I need… Now, I’m gonna show you how you can cook this too, in under S$10 & you don’t need to be a pro to do this.

The best thing about my apple pie is it's wonderful mouthwatering crust. It is not too crispy like a cracker nor as soft as pizza crust. The crumbly texture of the pie makes it irresistible, regardless of what kind of apple is used. This pie has been a family favorite ever since I first baked it.

I was inspired by my wonderful friend J, who brought a Strawberry Cheesecake to my recent BBQ party & I decided to make one to celebrate my students’ graduation.

Extremely refreshing appetiser. I make extra salsa to keep in the fridge for a pick-me-up after a long day. You can serve this on a banana leaf with lime slices.
