This recipe was my absolute favourite sweet treat growing up, and still is! This was my great-grandma's recipe and is NOT for those watching their figure! The result is a very rich, very tasty bar cookie. The nuts and cherries are both optional, but give great variations to this recipe.

This is the treat my children love to make themselves after a good term at school or when they have a friend staying. One cake is big enough to share between 2 children if you can convince them of it!!!

A rich gooey chilled cake that you can cut up into small portions. Pure heaven for anyone who loves chocolate! Be patient, for best results - you will need to chill overnight or for at least 8 hours.

These are tasty chocolate biscuits made with cornflakes - a kiwi classic. You'll find yourself addicted. The good thing is they are REALLY easy to make.

These are crusty on the outside and soft and moist on the inside.

This is a wonderful celebration cake-chocolate and cream. You can prepare the syrup before you start the cake and let it cool.

This is a variation of the classic Nanaimo Bars, but it tastes like a B-52 shooter. These are a great alternative to Nanaimo bars or rum balls.

These taste like the candy bar - crunchy, chocolate and peanut butter taste. Great combination!

This recipe has been created with the idea of lowering the fat content. These are so delicious - you'll never miss the fat, and chocolate still makes an appearance!

This is a basic truffle filling to which you can add your own flavourings. You may use this to fill the chocolate shells you make using moulds or roll into balls then into powdered sugar, cocoa, sprinkles or other toppings.

These cookies are the pinnacle of perfection! If you want big, fat, chewy cookies like the kind you see at bakeries and specialty shops, these are the ones for you!

These classic American-style chocolate chip cookies have crisp edges and are chewy in the centre.

This is a yummy, flourless, fail proof chocolate cake - the base and the filling are the same: one is baked while the other is just chilled. Use fresh eggs and good quality chocolate - preferably with 70% cocoa, and don't over-bake the base.

This all-time favourite is worth the effort it takes to make. If you're in a hurry, but still crave that combination of chocolate, cherries and cream, make the cake without the shortcrust pastry base. It will still taste delicious.

The combination of coffee, chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream makes this a perfect pick-me-up drink. A very decadent mocha iced coffee.
