About this recipe: Pumpkins taste surprisingly good when they are made into soups. I don't like them when they are stir-fried, though.

  • 1500ml water
  • 350g pork ribs
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • A pinch of salt
  • A dash of white pepper
  • ½ pumpkin, cut into cubes
  • 2 spring onions, cut into strips
  • Coriander for garnish


  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. Put in pork ribs, garlic, salt and pepper. Boil for 20 minutes using low heat.
  3. Add pumpkin and boil for 30 minutes. Add spring onions and stir for a few seconds.
  4. Garnish with coriander. Serve.
