About this recipe:
We cook this at least once a week as we enjoy this refreshing barley drink. Barley also has a cooling effect, which is very important in hot and sunny Singapore!
2 kg water
50g dried barley, rinsed
4 slices dried sweetened wintermelon
- In a large pot, boil all ingredients for 30 minutes. The barley and wintermelon can be removed after cooking. Serve hot or chilled.
