Xiao bai cai with oyster sauce

    This is a simple dish that is presentable, tasty and very healthy. It takes only all of five minutes to prepare!

    • 1 tbsp oil
    • a pinch of salt
    • 500g Xiao bai cai
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce or to taste
    • 2 tbsp shallots


    1. In a large pot of boiling water, add oil and some salt. Add xiao bai cai and blanch until xiao bai cai is somewhat limp. Remove from pot and douse with cold water.
    2. Drizzle oyster sauce over the xiao bai cai and top with shallots. Serve.
