Stir-fried shanghai greens with prawns

About this recipe: This is a simple stir-fry dish with vegetables. Prawns are sweet-tasting, which makes it a good ingredient to use with a simple vegetable stir-fry.

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 400g shanghai greens
  • 100 g prawns, shelled
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 75ml water


  1. Oil the frying pan with 2 tbsp of oil. Add the garlic and fry under medium heat until slightly brown.
  2. Add the prawns and stir-fry until it turns pink.
  3. Add the shanghai greens and stir-fry until the leaves are slightly wilted and the stems are soft.
  4. Quickly add the light soy sauce and water. Stir-fry for another 30 seconds. Serve.
