Steamed fish fillets

    Fish fillets can be steamed too but they require slightly less time than a whole fish.

    • 500g fish fillets
    • 1 tomato, cut into eighths
    • 4 slices ginger, sliced into strips
    • Small amount salted vegetables, sliced
    • 1/2 chilli, chopped
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp water
    • Cilantro for garnish


    1. Place the fish fillets on a large plate without overlapping on each other.
    2. Arrange the tomato, ginger, salted vegetables and chilli on the fish.
    3. Drizzle the light soy sauce and water over the fish. Steam in a steamer for about 10 minutes. Serve with cilantro as garnish.
