Stir-fried long beans with pork

    As you can see from the photo, there is quite a lot of minced pork! This is beacause the kids do not like to eat their veggies - but this amount of pork can be reduced.

    • 4 strings long beans, cut to 3-4cm sections
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 150g minced pork
    • 1 chili, sliced
    • A pinch of salt
    • 1 tsp light soy sauce


    1. Blanch the long beans for 2 minutes in boiling water. Remove and set aside.
    2. In a hot frying pan, fry the garlic until it starts to brown.
    3. Add minced pork and cook until it loses its pinkness. Stir well to break the minced pork up.
    4. Add the long beans and chili. Stir well to mix. Add salt and light soy sauce. Mix again. Serve.
