Stir-fried hairy gourd and glass noodles

    This is a very enjoyable dish with a soft texture. It can be served with rice or porridge during lunch or dinner.

    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • A handful dried prawns
    • 3 dried mushrooms, soaked until soft, sliced
    • 400g hairy gourd, shredded
    • 50g glass noodles, soaked until soft
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • a pinch of salt
    • 100ml water


    1. Oil a frying pan. In a pan, fry garlic and dried shrimps under medium heat until fragrant.
    2. Add mushrooms and hairy gourd. Stir-fry until the hairy gourd turns soft.
    3. Add light soy sauce and salt and pour the water over the long beans. Mix well. Remove from pan. Serve.
