About this recipe: This is a very enjoyable dish that is quite simple to prepare. It is usually served at dinner with rice.

Serves: 5 

  • 250g minced pork
  • 100g minced prawn
  • 1 big onion, chopped
  • 3 water chestnuts, chopped
  • 3-4 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • salt to taste
  • a dash of pepper

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Form into 25 balls. Deep-fry in a deep fryer until golden brown.
