Prawns in tomato sauce

    This is a delicious dish that is quite easy to cook. It is usually eaten at dinner and goes well with rice.

    Serves: 4 

    • 12 prawns (300g)
    • 1 tomato, sliced into eighths
    • 1 yellow onion, small
    • 3 tbsp ketchup
    • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
    • 50ml water

    Prep:1min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:11min 

    1. Under high heat, fry the onions until slightly shrunken and charred.
    2. Add the prawns and tomato and continue to fry until the prawns are almost pink.
    3. Add the ketchup, dark soy sauce and water and mix well to coat the prawns in the sauces. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes. Serve.
