Chinese lettuce and preserved kana cai stir-fry

    This is a simple stir-fry dish with Chinese lettuce and preserved kana cai. Preserved kana cai isnt very healthy but it is pretty tasty!

    Serves: 5 

    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 tbsp preserved kana cai (preserved olives leaves)
    • 400g Chinese lettuce, stems removed, cut into pieces
    • 100ml water

    1. Oil the frying pan with 2 tbsp of oil. Add the garlic and fry under medium heat until slightly brown.
    2. Add the preserved kana cai and stir-fry until it is fragrant.
    3. Add the Chinese lettuce and continue to stir-fry until the leaves are wilted. Meanwhile, add water to prevent it from drying out and charring. Serve.
