Egg tart with frozen puff pastry

    This egg tart is really yummy! Furthermore it is so easy and quick to be prepare!

    Makes: 12 tarts

    • 90g coarse sugar
    • 240g hot water
    • 3 eggs, beaten
    • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/4 tsp white vinegar
    • 12 pcs frozen square puff pastry, thawed

    Prep:30min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:1hr10min 

    1. Pre-heat oven at 180C
    2. Dissolve sugar in hot water, set aside to cool.
    3. Add in sugar syrup, eggs, vanilla extract and vinegar, lightly stir to combine. Sift twice, set aside.
    4. Arrange puff pastry pieces in a 12 holes muffin pan; trim off excess if desired.
    5. Pour egg custard filling in the puff pastry case, about 90% full.
    6. Bake for 35mins or until golden brown. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
