Stir-fried Chinese cabbage with beancurd

    This is a simple vegetable dish that is eaten at lunch or dinner.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 75g beancurd, cut into ½ cm slices
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 500g Chinese cabbage, cut into 3-4cm strips
    • a pinch of salt
    • 75ml water

    1. Oil a pan with 2 tbsp of oil. Fry the beancurd under medium heat until it turns golden brown. Remove from pan.
    2. Fry the garlic under medium heat until it starts to brown. Add the Chinese cabbage and stir-fry for 1 minute. Cover and allow the Chinese cabbage to sit in the pan for 2-3 minutes.
    3. Remove cover and add salt. Mix well. Turn off the heat and cover the pan again. Turn off the heat and allow Chinese cabbage to sit for another 1-2 minutes.
    4. Remove cover and add water. Mix well. Serve.
