Stir-fried cabbage with black fungus

    This is a simple dish that goes well with porridge.

    Serves: 5 

    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 350g cabbage, cut into thick slices
    • 100ml water
    • 1.5tbsp light soy sauce
    • 30g black fungus, soaked until soft, cut into pieces
    • Oil

    1. In a pan, fry the garlic under medium heat until it starts to brown.
    2. Add the cabbage and stir-fry for 1 minute. Cover the lid of the pan and allow it to sit for 3-4 minutes.
    3. Add the water, light soy sauce and black fungus and stir-fry for another minute. Serve.
