Braised Pork Ribs with Onion

    This is a tasty dish usually eaten with rice.

    Serves: 5 

    • 500g pork ribs
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp rice wine
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 10 slices ginger
    • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
    • 2 cloves garlic, flattened
    • 500ml water

    1. Marinate the pork ribs with oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, rice wine and sesame oil for 1 hour.
    2. Fry the onion, ginger and garlic under medium heat until they are fragrant.
    3. In a large pot, add the pork ribs and fried onion mixture. Add water and braise over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
    4. Allow it to simmer for another 20 minutes on low heat. Serve.
