    About this recipe: This is also known as congee. It is very thin and is usually a lunch item rather than a dinner item.

    Serves: 3 

    • 1 cup rice, washed
    • 1.5 L water

    1. Place rice and water in a large pot and allow it to boil under high heat.
    2. Once it boils, allow it to simmer under medium heat for about 45 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes to prevent rice grains from sticking to bottom of pot.
