About this recipe:
This is also known as congee. It is very thin and is usually a lunch item rather than a dinner item.
1 cup rice, washed
1.5 L water
- Place rice and water in a large pot and allow it to boil under high heat.
- Once it boils, allow it to simmer under medium heat for about 45 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes to prevent rice grains from sticking to bottom of pot.
