Make Fried Noodle Thai Style (Pad-Thai: ผัดไทย)

    If you want to show your neighbour that you can cook Thai food to surprise them and make a small party in your house, why don't enroll at cooking School Thailand, then you can prepare for every meal in your kitchen. This is some tip of making Fried noodle Thai Style, Enjoy your cooking.

    Serves: 1 

    • 2 tablespoons soya bean oil.
    • 4 cloves garlic crushed and chopped skin off.
    • 4 peeled raw prawns. Veggie: omit.
    • 50 grams tofu. Cut in 1 cm strips.
    • 1 egg Vegan: Omit
    • 2 Tablespoons fish sauce. Veggie: soya sauce.
    • 1 teaspoon white sugar.
    • 1 cup warm water.
    • 150 grams rice noodles pre-soaked in warm water for 2 minutes.
    • 2 tablespoons ground peanuts.
    • 1 small cup beansprouts.
    • 2 sweet spring onions.
    • 1/4 lime

    1. Place the soya bean oil in the wok and turn on the gas to medium heat for 20 seconds.
    2. Add the garlic. Fry until it becomes fragrant.
    3. Add the prawns and fry until they change colors.
    4. Add the tofu.
    5. Crack the egg straight into the wok. Immediately add the fish sauce and sugar. Stir rapidly until it becomes scrambled. Push this up onto the top of the wok.
    6. Pour the water into the bottom of the wok and add the noodles
    7. Add the peanuts and the bean sprouts and mix everything together. Keep frying for about another 20 seconds.
    8. Add the sweet spring onions.
    9. When the noodles become dry switch off the gas and squeeze the lime over the noodles
    10. Ready to Serve.


    Please note: for fried noodles Thai Style you have to add Four Seasonings to your taste. These are: 1. Fish sauce for saltiness. 2. Sugar for sweetness. 3. Lime juice or rice vinegar for sourness. 4. Dried chili for spiciness.
