Simple~ Salmon Fried Rice!

    20 mins

This is a dish that I happen to whip out with some things in my refrigerator. The final result is somewhat soft and yet a little sour at the end. My grandmother even commented that it was not bad! This is also a dish that anyone can cook when they don't feel like going out.

    Serves: 1

    • 1/2 bowl (about the ones that you pour soup into) Rice (leftovers)
    • 2 tablespoons Canned Salmon
    • 1/4 cup (50ml) water
    • some (preferably 2 tablespoons) mayonnaise

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min

    1. Add some oil into a frying pan after the frying pan has been heated.
    2. Add in the rice. Press on the rice so that the block of rice becomes separated. Add in the canned salmon as well.
    3. Continue to cook the rice until it is not very hard. Now, pour the water slowly and fry the rice at the same time.
    4. Make sure that all of the water added is absorbed into the rice before squeezing in the mayonnaise. Make sure that the mayonnaise is evenly spread out. Fry the rice for a little while more before serving.

A word of caution: do not fry the rice after it has been mixed with mayonnaise for too long. Otherwise, your end product may end up like mine-sour.
