About this recipe: Moist, simple banana cake.
The first ever delicious cake that I baked in my life was banana cake. I made it from a recipe in "Dewan Pelajar" ( a magazine for primary school students). However, I lost that recipe and had to use a new recipe. I modify a bit the recipe. This cake is moist and soft. It isn't too light but has a nice texture and not too sweet. I had made a banana caramel sauce to go with it, but just eating it on its own is just as great. Enjoy making it! - 06 Mar 2011

I reduced the sugar (around 40g less), omitted the milk and added rolled oats, Walnuts and brown sugar on top before baking for 40 mins at 180°C (fan assisted oven). The result was amazing. Best served warm! - 14 May 2017 (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
